A Countdown to a Day of Noah
For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which now exist are kept in store by the same word, reserved for fire until the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2 Peter 3:5-7
With the possibility that 2010 to 2017 is the time of the Tribulation, was there any other dates that stood out before this time? Of all time periods, the use of forty days or years is without parallel in the Bible. The first use of forty was the forty days and nights of rain at the time of the flood of Noah.
Advancing time forty 360-day years (often said to be the lowest number for a generation, but more accurately refers to probation) from June 7, 1967, the time came to November 8, 2006--to the very day. The significance of this day was that on the Jewish calendar it was the 17th of Heshvan. This was the day in which the rains began the great Flood of Noah--the last great judgment of the world...
It is here then that prior to the real outcome of the year 2006, that it seemed November 8, 2006 would possibly start the many end times events...
The legitimacy of these forty 360-day years from 1967 was also established by the fact that there were forty solar years from 1933 to 1973. As was previously seen, the years of 1933 and 1967 were parallel in the fact that they were both the final dates projected from the Time of Judgment and Restoration. Forty solar years (for consistency of the previous 2,520 solar years) from 1933 brought the time to 1973, the year of the Yom Kippur War...
This date of November 8, 2006 came at an intersection of time related to three important people of the Bible. Those people are Adam, Noah, and Jesus. Using a sound biblical chronology similar to Archbishop Ussher’s it was found that Noah died 2006 years after the creation of Adam. Jesus was born 4004 years after the creation of Adam. The year 2006 was 4004 years after the death of Noah and 2006 years after the birth of Jesus...

The significance of Noah’s death seemed to be twofold. First, Noah’s death marked the end of the age of those from the time of the Flood. This was right before the age of the Hebrews. It is the next year that Abram was conceived. Abram would become Abraham, the father of the Hebrews or Israelites. The next two thousand years would focus on them until the time of Jesus the Messiah...
These transits of Mercury are rare. Therefore, the coincidence of this with the others seemed to be putting further weight on this day of November 8, 2006. Not only that, but Edmund Halley (the discoverer of Halley’s Comet) was the first to observe a full transit of Mercury in 1677. This transit of Mercury in 2006 was only the second on November 8th since 1677. Curiously, Edmund Halley was also born on November 8th...
November 8, 2006 was also a Wednesday, which by its very name means the day of Mercury. Therefore more coincidence and alignment to the day...
There are two views concerning the time of Abraham’s birth. In this book it follows the chronology that Abraham was born at year 2,008 from Creation and when Terah was 130 and not when he was at 70 years of age. This follows that Abraham was 75 when he left Haran when Terah died. Though Genesis does say Terah had his sons at 70, this was all three of his sons. This precedent can be found when Noah has his three sons at 500 years of age, when in reality Shem was born when Noah was 502. The explanation is that both ages for Noah and Terah are when the family begins. Genesis 5:32, 11:10, 26, 32, 12:1-4.
This day of the 8th of November 2006 appeared to be very significant and what event would transpire was only an educated estimation. The year 2006 was about four years prior to the Tribulation, if the year 2017 were the final year of the Tribulation as suggested in the previous chapter. The Tribulation begins with the signing or enforcing of a treaty by the Antichrist, which theoretically would be in 2010. So what seemed to be a possible significant event that would unfold at this time in 2006? Prior to the year 2006 it seemed to be an event that set off the second great judgment of the human race much like the Flood of Noah.
The assumption prior to 2006 was that if the war of Magog is the waking moment for the Jews, a time where it is plainly obvious that God is at work in the land again, then its start time could fit November 8, 2006...
This book initially looked for the War of Magog to possibly start on November 8, 2006. However, a war did break out in Israel before the coming of November 8, 2006. This seemed to further suggest that the War of Gog and Magog could be just around the corner. But as events unfolded, they did not occur as expected, but there remained many significant features that raised more questions. The numbers of the Hezbollah War and of that summer were amazing.
....on July 12th more IDF soldiers were taken hostage, but into Lebanon. This caused Israel to strike at the terrorist group known as Hezbollah that was controlling much of Lebanon. The next day was the 17th of Tammuz and the war quickly advanced with Israel bombing the Beirut International Airport. At 21 days until the ninth of Av, things were quickly getting out of control and still some wondered what was to come on the ninth of Av. A war like this had not been seen in Israel since 1973...
The cease-fire came on August 14, 2006 and it was the anniversary day of the conclusion of World War II. Interestingly enough it was also forty days prior to Rosh Hashanah 2006. With both aspects of forty days, surely the forty-year point of November 8, 2006 was shaping up to be a significant day. But as the day approached there was another startling aspect to the timing of this war. November 8, 2006 was 120 days after the start of the war on July 12, 2006...
...120 is significant in the Flood account, as is forty. From June 7, 1967 to November 8, 2006 (Heshvan 17) it was forty 360-day years, which equals 14,400 days. But more surprisingly is the fact that the square root of 14,400 is 120. That is to say that 120 times 120 equals 14,400. The timing of the Lebanon-Israeli War then fell precisely in line with November 8, 2006 at 1/120th of the scale as the Six-Day-War.

The simple conclusion is that these seven years are the same as the Tribulation. Therefore, this would move the time of the Gog and Magog War to the end of 2010, which is just prior to the beginning of the Tribulation...
Therefore, to put the Magog War just prior to the Tribulation and around the time of the Rapture, the events get quickly compressed for the rise of the Antichrist. It may be that the Magog War develops over some time, but the key point at which God judges those nations, by turning his attention back to Israel, would have to come after the Rapture of the Church. Therefore, it would seem most probable that the time leading up until the Rapture would see the setting of the stage for Ezekiel 38-39, if not a significant development of the war. This is probably the final key sign for those who are aware of Scripture that enables them to see the Day approaching.
